Bluebell spotting in April

Bluebells at Launceston Farm

With these little beauties making an appearance all over Launceston Farm, now is the time to see them at their best.  We are sharing our favourite three places to see them – all within easy reach of the farm.

Stubhampton Woods. At the source of the River Tarrant, there are miles of footpaths and bridleways through the woods linking up with long distance trails across the AONB.

Pamphill Woods.  A National Trust site just outside Wimbourne with a fairy-like feel.  Have a cream tea at Pamphill Dairy afterwards and take some time to explore the rest of the stunning Kingston Lacey estate, house and garden.

Turnworth Down. A magical place, off the beaten track.  Ancient burial sites and a natural pond will provide the perfect back drop for a picnic.
