We have three young children and we know how precious time together as a family can be so we have worked hard to create a fun, inspiring, safe place where all the family can relax and enjoy everything Launceston Farm has to offer.
Our 12m indoor pool, heated by the farm’s biomass boiler, and sauna are available for guests to enjoy between 7am-7pm, providing hours of entertainment whatever the weather.
Once they have collected the eggs from the chickens scratching around, children can enjoy exploring the orchard with its willow Tipi and tree swings whilst you relax in the walled gardens or on the sun terrace. We have created a small fenced off toddler friendly play area with a mud kitchen, sand pit and play house. If you’re feeling brave, have a game of family cricket or badminton on the lawn.
We know how much effort and preparation goes in to planning a holiday so we are providing some essentials to try and reduce the stress. We have three travel cots, three high chairs, a hand blender, microwave and a baby monitor as well as a selection of baby friendly tableware. The Farmhouse has a fully equipped family room with a fantastic selection of games, books, DVDs, toys and games console.
Our NEW toddler boxes can be rented out for £5 each for the duration of your stay. These nifty boxes contain everything you need to entertain your little ones – and big ones – for the day either inside or out. Choose from cup cake feast, make and mould your own play dough, den building, mini beast exploring or our seasonal themed craft box.
We have a wonderful, highly qualified baby sitter – who used to look after our children – if the grown-ups fancy a night out at the village pub, The Langton Arms.
Being an active family we have masses of ideas for attractions to visit and things to do in Dorset and we will be on hand during your stay to help you plan your itineraries. We are only a half hour drive from beaches at Bournemouth and Poole and the delights of the New Forest. To give you a taster, here are our top five things to do with children in the local area.
For more ideas, we have loads of information on our Explore page.
