At Launceston Farm you can do as little or as much as you please. We are on hand to help make sure your stay with us is as memorable as you want it to be.
The surrounding Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty provides plenty of opportunities to get dirty; dirt buggies, clay pigeon shoots, archery, paint balling and quad biking are on hand at Gorcombe Outdoor Activity Centre. Try western style riding at Loose Reins Riding School or head to the New Forest to hire bikes and meet some of the local resident ponies. If the Jurassic Coast is calling, take a hike on the South West Coast Path – ranking alongside the Great Himalayan trail as one of the world’s most awe inspiring hikes – or try your hand at paddle boarding, coasteering or sea kayaking with Land & Wave.
If you don’t want to drive then pack your boots – or your bikes – and set out from the Farm gate. We provide maps and routes which will take in a pub or two along the way. Come back to the Farmhouse kitchen; the perfect place to come together for a cookery demo or a mixology session and enjoy dinner together in the Old Cart Shed or head down to the Orchard and make use of our tractor hub-cap fire pit.
The indoor swimming pool and sauna are available for guests between 7am and 7pm. If you want to add on some relaxing therapies we love Sarpenela Natural Therapies Centre.
We can cater for your party if you want food waiting for you when you arrive or a farm-sourced full English on Sunday morning. If it’s fully waitered service and a bespoke menu you are looking for, we recommend Rasperry & Rhubarb.
