All three properties at Launceston Farm have shared access to our stunning new indoor swimming pool in a converted stable block just a short walk from your door. After your swim, relax in the sauna with views over the surrounding water meadows. The 12m pool is 1.3m deep throughout and has entry steps in one corner.
Guests staying atThe Farmhouse have access to the walled gardens and Orchard. A giant sun terrace with Webber BBQ and bench seating and a lawn spacious enough for a family football match. The Games Tub is well stocked with a cricket set, tennis rackets, croquet and plenty more. Pick your way through the apple trees, past lambs grazing and chickens clucking to the willow tipi hideaway. For toddlers there is a fenced off area with a sand pit, mud kitchen and play house. Head down there at night to toast marshmallows over the fire pit and indulge in a spot of star gazing.
We are so lucky to have the multi-award winning Langton Arms just five minutes walk from the Farm. With it’s local, seasonal menu, beer garden and play area, this pub ticks all the boxes. Plus it’s open all day and if it’s raining, you can head down for a game of skittles in the skittle alley.
If you want more room to stretch out and watch a film together, the Workshop, next to the Farmhouse, has an integrated speaker system and projector with 270cm screen. You can stream a film directly from Amazon or Netflix or bring along your favourite DVD. If would like to hire The Workshop during your stay please contact us before your arrival to make sure it’s available.
During your stay, everyone will enjoy chatting to Jimi the farmer, recent star of Cbeebies Down on The Farm about his cows and calves. We have produced circular walking routes of the farm and surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so you can take in the sights, sounds and smells whilst you are with us.
