“At six foot four, Jimi is a hunk of a man, a farmer pinup. He was wearing sunglasses atop his head, his T-shirt was ripped, and his nose slightly squashed, no doubt the result of some macho rugby injury. If he wasn’t so posh he’d be a Hardy character, such is his enthusiasm for his land and livestock: “These are my boys, my pride and joy,” he said, introducing me to his cows. I was in no danger of being bored; in fact, I could feel myself becoming a farmer perv.”
Big thank you to Kate Maxwell for including Launceston Farm (well, Jimi) in her epic article in US Conde Nast Traveler charting her adventures eating and drinking her way through Dorset and Somerset. Lucky lady.
